Dr. Devayani Deshpande Thakur is a renowned anaesthesiologist and pain consultant. She completed her earlier studies and M.D. Anaesthesia from Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical college Nagpur. She had been an Ex lecturer at IGGMC, then at Safdurjung Hospital and Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College New Delhi. Excelling in her academics she is an Ex. Professor at Shri Balaji Medical College, Raipur. She is highly experienced in managing life threatening and complex operative anaesthesia and treatments of cancer pains, minimally invasive spine interventions, and other chronic pain conditions. She has been Ex. Hon. Secretary of Indian Society of Anaesthesia NCB . She has been a faculty and organiser of various National and International Conferences. She has numerous publications in reputed Medical journals. Having a literary flair she has numerous articles published in newspapers and magazines.
